Our agency, UNIGLOBE Five Star Travel, was created in 2002 through a merger of equals between UNIGLOBE VIP Travel, Inc. and UNIGLOBE Advisors in Travel, Inc.. UNIGLOBE VIP Travel, Inc. was established in 1985, by Tom Beebe, who brought a wealth of business management knowledge and a long history of travel for business, as well as pleasure. UNIGLOBE Advisors in Travel, Inc. was established in 1988 by Peter Durbetaki, a former business traveler who holds an MBA in marketing from Emory University. The merger of our agencies combined the strengths of a solid corporate agency and a rapidly growing leisure agency, allowing us to offer our existing clients enhanced services and more effectively compete in our industry.

The first and foremost goal of this new travel service is to offer highly trained, experienced and professional travel counselors representing a top notch line of travel products.

We are proud to say that our travel counselors have been with us for an average of 13 years in length of service with our office and an average of 18 years experience in the travel industry. We count Certified Travel Counselors (CTC), Destination Specialists (DS) and Master Cruise Counselors (MCC) amongst our ranks. In other words, our agents have the highest level of training available in our industry.
